"The Blue Horse" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work presents a blue horse elevated above a geometric structure that seems to emerge from between large masses of clouds. The animal’s figure, depicted with a firm and elegant stance, dominates a dreamlike composition in which references to real space disappear to build an imaginary and almost monumental scene. The composition plays with the contrast between the organic shapes of the horse and the clouds and the blunt geometry of the large architectural blocks. The horse occupies the highest point of the scene, reinforcing a sense of strength, freedom, and isolation. The perspective and the succession of suspended volumes add depth and an atmosphere close to surrealism. The palette is deliberately concentrated in different shades of blue—cobalt, ultramarine, sky blue, and deep blue—accompanied by bright whites and almost black areas. This monochromatic treatment enhances the fantastical character of the image. The visible, expressive brushwork, together with the unnatural use of color, shows affinities with Expressionism and Fauvism, while the combination of horse, impossible architecture, and cloudscape introduces echoes of Surrealist painting. "The Blue Horse" is a work with strong visual presence that combines equestrian painting, contemporary figuration, and imagined landscape. Especially attractive to collectors interested in horses, equestrian art, surrealism, contemporary figurative painting, monochromatic compositions, and works dominated by blue. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipment. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and send it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.
