"Boy in the Water" is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work presents a young person submerged in a pond, surrounded by large floating leaves and white water lilies. The figure appears leaning toward the water, in a serene and introspective attitude, visually blending with the vegetation until becoming part of the landscape itself. The composition is dominated by an intense range of greens—emerald, olive, and yellowish tones—upon which whites, purples, and yellows of the flowers stand out. The reflections of the body on the water introduce ochres and warm tones that contrast with the lush vegetation. The brushwork is visible and fluid, especially on the water surface, where the forms blur to suggest movement, depth, and reflection. The scene establishes affinities with the impressionist tradition of water gardens and Monet’s water lilies, reinterpreted from a contemporary figurative sensibility. There are also echoes of Post-Impressionism and Fauvist painting in the expressive, less naturalistic use of color. "Boy in the Water" conveys silence, intimacy, and contemplation. The union between human figure, water, and nature turns the scene into a poetic and immersive image, especially attractive to collectors of contemporary figurative painting, portraiture, nature, gardens, aquatic scenes, and works with strong chromatic richness. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. Upon payment confirmation, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and send it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days."
