Die hier angebotenen Vedutensammlungen sind Teil der großangelegten Publikation, die 16 Bände mit insgesamt 959 Darstellungen und Begleittexten umfasst. Sie gilt als größte zusammenhängende Serie von Farblithografien der Zeit. Die äußerst aufwendig gedruckte Auflage blieb naturgemäß unter 500 Exemplaren.- Vorhanden sind die Bände 'Schlösser und Burgen' von: 1. Schlesien 1 (73 Tafeln, 73 Textblätter). 2. Schlesien 3 (59 Tafeln, 59 Textblätter). 3. Schlesien 4 (26 Tafeln, 26 Textblätter, 1 Titelblatt). 4. Westphalen 1 (45 Tafeln, 44 Textblätter, 1 Titelblatt). 5. Rheinland 2 (51 Tafeln, 50 Textblätter).- 2 Bände mit Exlibris der Gräfin von Westarp.- Teils etwas stockfleckig (meist nur im weißen Außenrand), vereinzelt stärker stockfleckig, wenige Tafeln im weißen Rand etwas feuchtrandig. Contemporary red, gilt-stamped linen bindings (2 spines restored, some minor foxing). The veduta collections offered here are part of the large-scale publication comprising 16 volumes with a total of 959 illustrations and accompanying texts. It is considered the largest coherent series of color lithographs of the period.] The extremely elaborate printing naturally remained below 500 copies.
