Lot of three beautifully decorative Art Deco-style statues. Made in Bali, Indonesia, circa 1950-1960. Three beautiful examples of vintage Balinese Art Deco woodcarving. The statues depict traditional duck farmers. They are hand-carved in Indonesia, probably in the period between 1950 and 1960. Characteristic of this specific Art Deco style (also known as the Pita Maha style) are the elongated, slender limbs, the expressive, lightly smiling faces, and the refined dynamism in the posture of the figures. Two statues are made from Coromandel wood, the other from Satinwood. Stunningly beautiful! Dimensions: listed with the photos. Condition: in good condition with minimal signs of wear. Photos are part of the description. These were taken under artificial light; colors may vary. Mood impressions are shown. The statues are well packed and sent by registered mail. Jiljes, where quality and service come first!
