Sculted, decorative, and with a strong tactile impact, the Rikka chairs by Driade represent one of the most refined expressions of contemporary design signed Maurizio Galante, in collaboration with Tal Lancman. This set, composed of 4 chairs, stands out for the unmistakable artisanal craftsmanship of the seat and backrest, realized through a dense interweaving of leather straps that wrap around the tubular steel frame. The result is a rich, three-dimensional surface, almost textile, reminiscent of the aesthetics of Japanese Ikebana, from which the project draws inspiration. The design of Rikka transforms matter into a decorative gesture: the interlaced lines create a dynamic and sophisticated visual effect, able to alter perception depending on the viewing angle. The metal structure, light yet solid, supports a cover that becomes the absolute protagonist, giving the seat a sculptural character with a strong identity.
