Double-Terminated Rock Crystal with Exceptional Clarity...

Extra Clear Channeler Quartz from Brazil on Stand — Presented on an elegant custom base, this specimen is an imposing crystal of milky quartz (or rock crystal) from Brazil. The mineral has been selected for its remarkable purity and subsequently worked to achieve a sculptural, biterminated form, highlighting its transparency and monumental presence. The object stands out for its generous dimensions and its cinematic presence, uniting the raw beauty of natural material with a refined geometric design. Careful observation reveals a slender, balanced shape, terminated in a point at both ends. The surface has been masterfully faceted and polished, acting as windows to the crystal’s interior. This treatment not only gives the specimen a modern geometry but also amplifies its optical quality. Light passing through the quartz creates a complex play of reflections, refractions, and iridescent glints. Inside, natural inclusions, veils, and internal fractures are visible, bearing witness to the crystal’s geological history and adding depth and unique character to the piece. Milky quartz is the purest variety of quartz (silicon dioxide) and forms in a wide range of geological environments, primarily within hydrothermal veins and pegmatites, where it grows slowly from silica-rich solutions. Large, highly transparent specimens like this one are especially sought after. The treatment this crystal has undergone does not diminish its natural character, but transforms it into a work of art, where the artisan’s skill has interpreted and enhanced the mineral’s intrinsic features. This crystal stands as a true mineral sculpture. The minimalist support, consisting of a black wooden base and a steel stem, is designed to “suspend” the quartz in space, giving it an aura of a gallery piece. Its essential, luminous aesthetics make it a decor element of strong impact, perfect for enriching contemporary interiors, professional studios, libraries, or becoming the focal point of a modern Wunderkammer (cabinet of curiosities). In short, this lot offers a Milky Quartz specimen of notable size and quality. It is a piece that enchants both the mineral collector, for the material’s purity, and the design lover, for its elegant form and its ability to dialogue with light and space. A physical and visual presence that captures the crystalline essence of the Earth, transformed into a sophisticated display object.”} }
