Domus - complete year 1968 - Design, Architecture, Applied art - 1968

Complete volume of the architecture and design magazine Domus, 1968. In total 12 issues, January through December. Under the editorial leadership of Gio Ponti. Each issue has about 140 pages filled with photographic material (black and white and color) in the field of design, architecture and applied arts. A wealth of information about this period. The magazines show signs of use; bindings are damaged here and there along the spine (see photos). Issue 459 (Feb) marks Domus' 40th anniversary, the cover of April 1968 (no. 461) refers to Alexander Calder's 'Work in Progress'; his work is discussed in this issue. In issue 469 among others is a tribute to Eileen Gray by Joseph Rykwert with her tubular furniture and a look at her architectural work.
