DL Crystal - Table lamp - Murano glass

Italian late-20th-century modern desk lamp by the prestigious Crystal DG (Made in Italy). A collectible piece notable for its impeccable craftsmanship and a strongly vanguard aesthetic influenced by the Memphis Milano group. The main body is made of thick opaline blown glass, which provides a soft, diffuse, and very elegant ambient light. The most distinctive and playful feature of this design is its iconic red vivid glass ribbon, meticulously shaped in hot glass by master glassmakers, which hugs the central section of the shade, breaking with traditional industrial forms. The piece is in excellent condition. It retains the original label ("Crystal DG - Made in Italy"), a detail extremely rare to find that certifies its authenticity. The wiring is also original.
