Dining room chair (6) - Velvet, Wood - 6 1970s Norwegian Chairs

Rare Set of 6 Mid-Century Norwegian Bentwood Dining Chairs – Moody Botanical Tapestry The chairs are attributed to Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin 1960-70s : "Available here is a rare, complete set of six (6) sculptural lounge-style dining chairs. Finding a matching set of this size in such impeccable original condition is an exceptional opportunity for collectors and interior designers alike. This set offers a cohesive, high-drama look for a formal dining space or a curated mid-century lounge." Constructed with expertly crafted bentwood frames in a deep espresso finish, these chairs feature a "hammock-style" sling design that offers incredible ergonomic support. The high-back profile and deep button-tufting provide a luxurious lounging experience, making them perfect as statement dining chairs or a sophisticated seating group for a parlour or sunroom. The standout feature is the original botanical tapestry. The print features a sophisticated palette of dusky rose, muted plum, and charcoal grey, perfectly capturing the "Dark Academia" or "Maximalist" trend that is currently defining high-end interior design. Excellent vintage condition. The bentwood frames are structurally sound with minimal age-appropriate wear. The upholstery is vibrant, clean, and free of major stains or tears. The sling supports remain taut and secure.
