DIMOSA - Virgin Mary sculpture - 32 cm - Modern - Composite - 1960-1970

Elegant religious sculpture of the Virgin Mary, possibly depicting the Immaculate Conception, created by DIMOSA, a brand linked to the Olot tradition of religious imagery (Girona, Spain). The piece stands out for its streamlined design, harmonious lines, and the delicacy of its expression, which conveys serenity and spirituality. It presents an attractive aged metallic-tone finish, with an aesthetic that recalls bronze and enhances the details of the composition. Its design blends the tradition of Spanish religious imagery with an artistic interpretation of modern lines, making it an interesting piece for both sacred art collectors and lovers of vintage decoration. It is kept in good overall condition, with signs of the passage of time. In the area of one of the feet there is evidence of an intervention or an old repair, which does not seem to affect its stability or decorative presence. A piece of notable visual appeal, representative of the Spanish religious sculpture tradition of the 20th century.
