Dimoria Pastel Girls - Figurine - gesigneerd-EMIR O ge-inspireerd door Banksy

Signed by Emir O – Girl with Balloons – Dimoria Pastel Girls – Resin sculpture – 26 cm A special and expressive decorative art piece by the Mexican-American artist and designer **Emir O**, from the **Dimoria Pastel Girls** collection. The sculpture is **hand-painted and signed**. The **Dimoria Pastel Girls** collection consists of an extensive series of poetic and playful depictions of girls with balloons, flowers and other symbolic elements. The various sculptures in the series can be displayed individually, but together they also form an attractive and highly collectible collection. ## **Presentation** The sculpture shows an elegant girl in a soft pink dress, with silvery-gray hair tied with a pink bow. Her eyes are closed and her head is slightly tilted downward, giving the piece a calm and dreamy appearance. The combination of the girl, the balloons and the soft pastel tones gives the sculpture a recognizable and playful character. The refined details are visible in the hair, the facial features, the hands, the folds of the dress, the feet, the balloon shapes and the thin balloon cords. ## **Symbolism** The presentation can be seen as a symbol of: - youth and innocence; - dreams, hope and freedom; - happiness and festivity; - letting go and longing; - the fragility and transience of beautiful moments. The three balloons amplify the sense of lightness and freedom. The closed eyes and the restrained posture give the girl a simultaneously tranquil and almost meditative expression. ## **Artistic inspiration** Emir O is inspired by modern and contemporary artists such as **Banksy** and **Jeff Koons**, but also by famous artists from earlier periods, including **Edgar Degas** and **Marc Chagall**. In his work figurative art, modern design, soft colors, youthful wonder and a subtle Pop Art vibe come together. The dreamy atmosphere evokes associations with Chagall, while the elegant female figure recalls Degas' quiet figures. The balloons and accessible visual language align with the contemporary art world of Banksy and Koons. ## **Material and execution** The sculpture is made of **high-quality resin**. This material makes it possible to accurately render fine forms, flowing lines and small details. The sculpture is **hand-painted and signed by Emir O**. The combination of the sleek form, soft pastel tones and the various colorful balloons makes this art object a striking focal point. The sculpture fits both modern and classical interiors and looks particularly stunning on a side table, sideboard, bookshelf or in a lit display case for collectors. ## **Features** - **Artist/Designer:** Emir O - **Origin of artist:** Mexican-American - **Title:** Girl with Balloons - **Collection:** Dimoria Pastel Girls - **Material:** high-quality resin - **Dimensions:** approximately **26 × 10 × 7 cm** - **Balloons:** **3** - **Balloons:** white/pink striped, pink and purple - **Color of sculpture:** pink, purple, silvery-gray and soft skin tones - **Style:** modern, figurative and contemporary - **Period:** contemporary - **Type:** decorative art and collectible object - **Execution:** hand-painted - **Signature:** signed by Emir O - **Condition:** new / mint A charming, symbolic and striking art object for lovers of modern figurative art and distinctive design pieces.
