Dictador Lot – One Bottle Each: Dictador 10, Dictador 12, and Dictador 20! All solera rums! These three iconic expressions from Casa Dictador (Cartagena de Indias, Colombia – founded in 1913 by the Parra family) are crafted from 100% virgin sugarcane honey, distilled in copper pot stills, and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry American oak barrels. Natural color, no additives, and no chill filtration. Star Piece 1: Dictador 10. A balanced and approachable premium rum, aged up to 10 years, which provides initial sweetness and complexity. • Profile: Medium amber color; a nose with creamy vanilla, caramel, dried fruit, subtle chocolate, and sweet spices; a smooth palate with caramel, vanilla, candied fruit, and an elegant medium-long finish. • Style: Versatile and luscious – ideal for sipping neat or in premium cocktails. Star Piece 2: Dictador 12. A classic expression with greater maturity and refinement. • Profile: Deep amber color; a rich nose with bourbon vanilla, burnt caramel, dried fruit (raisins, figs), fine oak, and spices; a full palate with gourmand sweetness, chocolate, nuts, and a persistent finish with spicy warmth. • Style: Balanced and elegant – perfect for contemplative sipping. • Star Piece 3: Dictador 20. The jewel of the lot: an ultra-premium rum aged up to 20 years, selected by the Master Blender. • Profile: Dark amber color with mahogany highlights; luxurious nose with lush dried fruits, deep vanilla, burnt caramel, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, tobacco, and sweet spices; a soothing and complex palate with rich caramel, candied fruits, molten chocolate, and a long, persistent, and elegant finish.
