Depero Fortunato - Originale Forlì Litografia 1938

Original lithograph depicting Forlì, created by Fortunato Depero and published within the famous volume Le Cento Città (NO reproductions, NO copies) Measurements: 29 x 27 cm The work is from 1938 and forms part of the historic series of the one hundred Italian cities conceived by Depero, in which the Futurist artist interprets urban centers through a strongly stylized, symbolic, and very modern graphic language. This lithograph by Fortunato Depero from 1938 is a powerful example of Futurist graphics applied to propaganda of the period. Splendid and vibrant original lithograph signed on the plate by Fortunato Depero, taken from the famous publication “Le cento città di Depero,” one of the most fascinating and iconic editorial projects of Italian Futurism. Original work from the period, not a reproduction, with lithographic print quality that fully conveys the rich color and the precision of the lines typical of historical editions. A highly decorative piece but at the same time of great cultural value, ideal for collectors of Futurist graphics, Italian design, and twentieth-century art. Rare market exemplar, especially appreciated for its editorial provenance and for the signature of one of the leading figures of the Italian avant-garde.
