Denemarken - Kai Nielsen - Statue, Venus Kalipygos - 23 cm - Earthenware

This jade-green version is in excellent condition and is signed in the earthenware. There are several versions of this figurine. The Venus of Callipyge, also known as the Aphrodite Kallipygos or the Callipygian Venus, which literally means "Venus of the beautiful buttocks," is an ancient Roman marble statue, presumably a copy of an older Greek original. 23 cm high. Also marked on the bottom. We pack carefully and ship with Track & Trace.
