Delicate Belle Époque Ring with Natural Pearl & Diamonds, c. 1910

This ring from the Belle Époque period has a high-quality, slightly baroque-shaped oriental pearl at its center. It was created without human intervention in an oyster in the depths of the sea and is therefore a rare natural product of particular charm. It is flanked on both sides by two old-cut diamonds set in fine platinum settings. A simple gold ring band completes the harmonious arrangement. This piece of jewellery was created around 1910 - in an era when pearl cultivation had not yet been developed and both pearls and diamonds were among the most sought-after treasures. The pearl of this delicate ring captivates with its exceptionally beautiful luster and luxurious platinum tone with a subtle rosé shimmer. The soft, warm light of the old-cut diamonds complements this coloration in a particularly harmonious way. The elegant, delicate ring reminded us of the song of the undine over the water. The piece of jewellery found its way to us here in Berlin and is in wonderful condition.
