A0000004687 DELACOUR GENEVE BICHRONO HOMMAGE (DOUBLE INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT): We present at auction a true rarity and a masterpiece of independent haute horology: the DeLaCour Bichrono Hommage. This watch is impressive not only for its oversized 53.5 mm case but also for its revolutionary and bold engineering concept. The definitive feature of this piece is that its interior houses TWO COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT SWISS AUTOMATIC MOVEMENTS. As can be seen in the striking photos of the caseback (images 6402 and 6403), two distinct mechanisms work in parallel, each visible through its own sapphire crystal, allowing two separate time zones to be read and a mechanical chronograph to be operated simultaneously. Design and Features The case, made from a high-tech titanium/steel alloy with a matte satin finish, presents a complex and robust architecture, equipped with a total of 8 crowns and pushers (5 on the left side and 3 on the right). Its dazzling red dial with a carbon fiber texture contrasts spectacularly with the oversized yellow Arabic numerals and the multiple green-bright hands, evoking the control panel of a high-end racing car. The watch offers a host of complications including a mechanical chronograph, full calendar (day of the week, date and month distributed across subdials), 24-hour indicator, and, of course, the ability to display two different times simultaneously. Condition Report (Expert Review) This exceptional piece presents in excellent aesthetic and functional condition, ideal for collectors: Case and Materials: The titanium retains its original matte finish. It shows no dents, dents, or deep scratches; only ultra-light storage marks and extremely careful use, mainly on the case edges and pushers. The front and caseback sapphire crystals are pristine. Dial and Hands: In perfect condition, with all engravings of "deLaCour GENEVE" and "AUTOMATIC" crisp and defect-free. Bracelet: Original black textured leather strap with signed buckle, in very good condition, with very light signs of wear on the interior but with excellent integrity. Mechanical: The two automatic movements run correctly, keeping good time and power reserve. The chronograph mechanism starts, stops, and resets smoothly. (It is recommended to carefully view the gallery in detail, especially the photos of the rear movements and the details of the pushers, to appreciate the complexity and the excellent overall condition of this jewel of engineering). Shipping The item will be carefully protected, insured for its full value, and shipped with international tracking to ensure optimal delivery. Very good luck with this sale at auction, master; it is sure to generate a lot of interest among luxury enthusiasts!
