This Lalique perfume bottle, model “Muguet,” Model No. 525 (circa 1931), embodies one of the peaks of glassmaking expertise developed by René Lalique at the end of the Art Deco period. Made of blown-molded crystal, it features a subtle chromatic gradient evolving from a soft amber at the base to a clear transparency in the upper part, creating a luminous effect that highlights the bottle’s slender, elegant silhouette. The relief decoration of bell-shaped lily-of-the-valley flowers, emblematic of Lalique’s naturalistic sensibility, unfolds with remarkable finesse: each petal, each leaf, is molded with a precision that gives the bottle an exceptional tactile and visual presence. The stopper, also in crystal, repeats the organic harmony of the motif and completes the ensemble with sobriety and sophistication. The base bears the inscription “Lalique France,” guaranteeing the piece’s authenticity and origin. Listed by Félix Marcilhac as Model No. 525, circa 1931, this bottle belongs to the corpus of Lalique’s most sought-after creations, bearing witness to the transition between the floral naturalism inherited from Art Nouveau and the streamlined aesthetics of Art Deco. Preserved in remarkable condition, this specimen is not only a premier collectible object but also a historical testament to René Lalique’s creative excellence during one of the most fertile periods of his oeuvre.
