Decorative gorgonian on rock Taxidermy full body mount - Gorgoncea sp

White Gorgonian Growing on Natural Rock – Mounted on Metal Stand An elegant white gorgonian specimen naturally growing from a marine rock and presented on a discreet black metal display stand. The colony develops directly from the stone, creating a particularly authentic and visually interesting composition in which the original substrate remains an integral part of the specimen. From this natural base, the gorgonian rises into a complex network of slender, finely branching structures. The branching pattern is highly irregular and organic, forming an airy three-dimensional silhouette reminiscent of a miniature underwater tree. The pale ivory-white coloration emphasizes the intricate structure of the colony, while the darker natural rock provides a strong contrast and adds further visual depth. Several areas retain small traces of natural marine growth and subtle tonal variations, reinforcing the genuine underwater origin of the specimen. The black metal stand supports the rock while keeping the gorgonian elevated, allowing the branching architecture to be appreciated from multiple angles. A refined natural history specimen combining marine biology and sculptural aesthetics, ideal for a cabinet of curiosities, marine collection or sophisticated interior display.
