Nancy, um 1915–1920, Farbloses Überfangglas mit gelben, orange- und roten Pulvereinschmelzungen, flächendeckend säuremattiert, Montierung aus geschmiedetem Eisen. Am unteren Rand des Schirms nadelgraviert mit Lothringer Kreuz: DAUM NANCY Pilzform. Breit ausladender, vierpassig gewellter Schirm auf schlankem Balusterschaft mit gewölbtem, getrepptem Rundfuß. Der gläserne Korpus besticht durch ein warmes, harmonisches Farbspiel aus leuchtenden Gelb- und kräftigen Rottönen, das im eingeschalteten Zustand eine stimmungsvolle Lichtwirkung erzeugt. Schmiedeeiserne Schirmhalterung mit Blattamplikationen. Fuß und Schirm zweifach elektrifiziert. Leichte Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. | DAUM FRÈRES, Large ‘Champignon’ table lamp Nancy, c. 1915–1920, colourless overlay glass with yellow, orange and red powder fusions, acid-etched over the entire surface, forged iron mount. Needle-engraved with the Lorraine Cross at the lower edge of the shade: DAUM NANCY mushroom shape. A wide, sweeping shade with a quatrefoil-shaped wavy edge, mounted on a slender baluster stem with a domed, stepped round base. The glass body captivates with a warm, harmonious interplay of colours comprising luminous yellows and rich reds, which creates an atmospheric lighting effect when switched on. Wrought-iron lampshade mount with leaf motifs. Base and lampshade fitted with dual electrical connections. Slight signs of age and wear. SHIPPING TO THE USA MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE BUYER.
