Dante Carpigiani - Sculpture

Dante Carpigiani, sculptor and painter (Mirandola 1921 - Bologna 2012). Full professor for several years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. A silent artist, but not his works. He directed his attention and his studies mainly toward sacred art. His works, especially bronzes and terracottas, have found a home in many churches and several works are visible at the Certosa of Bologna.
