Original exhibition poster dedicated to Daniel Spoerri (1930-2024), produced for his show at the Centre national d’art contemporain (CNAC), 11 Rue Berryer, Paris 8th, presented from January 28 to March 6, 1972. The poster features a large black-and-white photographic composition that directly evokes Daniel Spoerri’s universe, notably his work with everyday objects, tables and remnants of meals, characteristic of his famous “tableaux-pièges”. The lower part, printed in brown-reddish tones, bears the name « spoerri » in large white letters as well as the dates of the exhibition. Artist: Daniel Spoerri Location: Centre national d’art contemporain, Paris Year: 1972 Dimensions: about 60 × 40 cm The poster shows signs corresponding to its age and use: creases, folds, handling marks, small tears and accidents, notably on the edges and in the lower part. The photographs are an integral part of the description and allow precise assessment of its conservation state. Beautiful original period poster, interesting for a collection devoted to Daniel Spoerri, Nouveau Réalisme, contemporary art, or French exhibition posters of the 1970s.
