Daniel Fang per Arte Zeta Studio - 1 Original colour...

C-18 – Summer Vibes Dimensions 29cm x 41cm Watercolor on cotton rag Original and unique watercolor, handcrafted in full, inspired by C-18, the famous Dragon Ball universe character. The piece depicts the iconic android in a summer version, wearing a blue swimsuit. The artistic reinterpretation highlights her unmistakable beauty, independent temperament, and the confident, effortless attitude that have made her one of the series’ most beloved protagonists. The work is part of a series of original, one-of-a-kind drawings, handmade by the illustrator Daniel Fang, an artist with a recognizable and refined stylistic signature. The collection stems from the long collaboration between Daniel Fang and Arte Zeta Studio, active since 2014, within which the artist contributes to the creation of exclusive graphics and to the development of the guidelines for new collections. The works presented combine influences from American, European, and Japanese styles, blending different aesthetic sensibilities into a powerful and personal visual key. This watercolor, in particular, offers an original reinterpretation of C-18, placing the character in a summery atmosphere that highlights her more feminine and sophisticated side, without sacrificing the strong, charismatic personality that distinguishes her. The traditional watercolor technique gives the work a particular painterly delicacy, while the blue hues help create a fresh and elegant image. The result is an interesting meeting between the sensibility of traditional illustration and the dynamic imagery of Japanese anime, in a composition that celebrates the allure of one of Dragon Ball’s most iconic characters.
