All auctions / Contemporary Art / Daluxe Art - 1999 • XL Marilyn Buste
XL Marilyn Bust – 60 cm A powerful and elegant sculpture inspired by the timeless appeal of Marilyn Monroe. This XL bust combines classic glamour with a raw, contemporary art finish. The full sculpture is rendered in deep bronze and gold tones, with dark accents in the hair and over the body to provide extra contrast and depth. The highly textured finish, visible brushstrokes, and varying gloss levels give the work a marked handmade character. Depending on the lighting, different nuances in the metallic surface emerge each time. With a height of no less than 60 cm, this is truly a statement piece. The sculpture looks particularly striking on a pedestal in a modern living room, office, hotel, or art collection. The back features the artist's signature. The artwork is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity from Daluxe Art. “Hand-finished polyester sculpture by Daluxe Art, created on a blank commercially manufactured base.”
