Cyril Keller - Ein Gutes Zeichen

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, forms, and the possibility to give my ideas a unique expression. This passion forms the foundation of my work to this day. I was particularly influenced by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. I learned to paint from him. His sense of color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his pupil I could benefit from a knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I have developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have dedicated myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interaction of color layers, the structures that arise, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process the learned craft merges with intuition and joy of experimenting. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and reveal new facets again and again over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something unique. The canvas is unstretched and will be carefully rolled in a shipping tube. An authenticity certificate is included with the delivery.
