Trophy awarded to Emile Masson in 2005 for his victory in Paris–Roubaix on 9 April 1939. As this trophy is relatively new, some of the race’s greats did not have the honour of lifting it. To rectify this injustice, the “Friends of Paris–Roubaix” have awarded it retrospectively to some of them, such as Emile Masson (winner in 1939), André Mahé (who shared the win in 1949 with Serse Coppi) and Eddy Merckx, three-time champion between 1968 and 1973.
