Magnificent armoire, arranged as a wardrobe. Very fine walnut wood and in excellent condition—recently and perfectly restored. These panels are a continuation of the Italian Renaissance as it was made in the southeast part of France, toward Piedmont. Beautiful heavily moulded framing along the doors in the style. This cabinet is especially suitable for this purpose because it is 70 cm deep, allowing clothes to be hung with ample space. The hanging rod is new and sturdy. The shelf above the rod is lined with beautiful silk — and completely clean — ready for use. This box-shaped type of lock is seen in this region already in the 17th century. - see detail photo. These heavy long pin hinges are also typical of the style. The key works. The cabinet also has slats to place shelves for anyone who wants to use the cabinet differently.
