Credenza - Wood, Bamboo

Splendid bar cabinet / display credenza dating from the period spanning the late 1970s to the early 1980s, in full Colonial / Ethnic-Chic style. The piece stands out for its high build quality: the main structure is made of solid wood with a warm flame figure and grain that are highly decorative. The panels of the two front doors feature a refined inlay in wicker/Vienna straw with a tight weave in a dark shade, perfectly preserved. The external supporting frame echoes the grooved design of bamboo canes, enriched by elegant decorative joint details. The upper open section serves as a display shelf, while the lower part houses a large storage compartment. The interior currently has two original wooden shelves (a third shelf is missing, but the side supports are present for an easy restoration). The item presents itself in exceptional vintage condition: the wood is glossy and free of deep scratches, the wicker weave is perfectly intact, solid and without breaks or loose parts.
