Coupe koopha - Yaka - DR Congo

Small monoxyl wooden cup from the Yaka, traditionally used for reconciliation. Two individuals with a dispute drink from it together, hence the two openings. This is a unique type of object in African art. Indeed, this typology is found only in the Yaka/Suku culture in Congo.
