Danish vintage design pendant lamp – Werner Schou – Coronell Elektro In very good condition – Copper & black metal with all original prisms – 1960s/70s A beautiful and iconic Danish design pendant lamp, designed by Werner Schou for Coronell Elektro (Denmark) in the 1960s/1970s. This lamp is a masterpiece of Mid-Century Modern lighting and an absolute showpiece in any design interior. Design & Light Effect: The lamp is built from layered, sculpturally curved strips of high-quality copper that beautifully contrast with a central matte-black metal band. This black band features geometric cutouts in which all original plastic/acrylate crystals (prisms) are still present and intact. When the lamp is lit, the light filters through the layered copper structure in a magical way and the faceted plastic prisms create a warm, sparkling, and atmospheric light pattern on the walls and ceiling. Designer: Werner Schou Manufacturer: Coronell Elektro Country of origin: Denmark Period: 1960s / 1970s (Mid-Century Modern / Space Age) Material: Copper, black-painted metal, faceted plastic/acrylate prisms Diameter: 35 cm Height: 20 cm Original Bakelite fitting: E27 (suitable for modern LED bulbs). Light source included. Condition: The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The copper has retained its beautiful, warm luster and there are no notable damages. Unique to this piece is that the delicate plastic stones are 100% complete. The wiring has been electrically tested; the lamp operates excellently and is ready for immediate installation. Will be packed with utmost care and securely. Shipping is carried out with track & trace.
