Unusual, rare antique corkscrew degasser in iron and wood - late 19th century. This atypical tool is an Italian implement used to open Champagne bottles, allowing the effervescence to be preserved for several days, as it was inserted directly into the cork. In this case it is a finely crafted object in iron and wood. Much longer than a normal corkscrew, it measures 34.3 x 12 cm. To be kept with care, like those objects that testify to a beauty reserved only for the most important items. For collectors!! Any signs of wear belong to the passage of time and are part of the object. Excellent condition, with signs of use. The photos are an integral part of the description. Note: I sell dated objects, acquired over the course of my life; the selling price is lower than their value, for this reason I would ask you to adopt a different approach compared to modern products, because the value does not reside in functional perfection, but in charm, in history, and in the authenticity of lived experience.
