Cor Schaap (1968) - Strandwandeling

Cor Schaap grew up in a fishing family and has carried the sea with him from a young age. The coast forms not only his background, but also an inexhaustible source of inspiration. In his (post)impressionist paintings he captures the atmosphere and movement of the coastal landscape in his own, recognizable style. His work radiates light, calm, space and cheerfulness. The paintings of Cor Schaap are included in the collection of Galerie Gabriëls in The Hague, a renowned gallery that since 1974 represents professional art painters. This is a nice, sunny and atmospheric work in a very loose style, executed in a beautiful and harmonious color palette of light shades. The fresh tones and loose brushwork bring the coastal feeling to life and make this painting an attractive eye-catcher for any interior. Framed under glass in a lovely frame.
