Exceptional new Mrirt rug, entirely hand-knotted in Morocco using premium-quality natural sheep’s wool. Its warm taupe background and striking black and ivory abstract design create a refined, contemporary statement piece. DESCRIPTION This unique 200 × 300 cm Mrirt rug was entirely handmade by skilled Berber women weavers in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. Its dense, luxurious pile is made from carefully selected natural sheep’s wool, renowned for its exceptional softness, thickness and durability. The rug has been individually knotted by hand following traditional Moroccan weaving techniques. The composition features a warm taupe and beige background decorated with bold, free-flowing geometric motifs in deep black and natural ivory. The large central design gives the rug a strong artistic identity, reminiscent of an abstract contemporary artwork. Elegant yet distinctive, this rug will bring warmth, texture and character to a living room, bedroom, office or sophisticated interior. Its neutral colours allow it to blend beautifully with minimalist, modern, brutalist, Scandinavian or bohemian decoration. After weaving, the rug was washed several times and naturally dried under the Moroccan sun, giving the wool a clean, soft and luminous finish. No chemical treatment has been used. As this piece is entirely handmade, slight variations in the weave and design are part of its authentic character. This is a unique artisan rug, not an industrially manufactured product.
