Old brass pocket compass – a navigation instrument – circa 1920 Old brass pocket compass, a circular case with a graduated dial from 0 to 360 degrees. The instrument features a magnetized needle visible from both sides thanks to a double glass viewing window, allowing readings of orientation. This type of compass was used for navigation, hiking, or military use in the early 20th century. Nice patina on the brass and wear marks consistent with its age. Estimated manufacture around the 1920s. An interesting item for collectors of antique scientific or navigation instruments (sextant, telescope, compass). Sold as is, as shown in the photos.
