Antique solid-wood chest of drawers finely inlaid, datable to the late nineteenth century, equipped with four large front drawers and supported by shaped bracket feet. The fronts of the drawers are embellished with geometric inlays and phytomorphic motifs in contrasting woods, completed by bronze key escutcheons and metal knobs. The piece features an original patina well preserved on both the top surface and the back panel made of intricate wooden slats. Dimensions: 106 x 131 x 60 cm Good overall condition with minor material defects; light surface wear due to normal use over time, consistent with the age of the furniture. Please closely view the photographs as they are an integral part of the description. Professional packing and trackable shipping, with costs calculated via a quote due to the size and weight of the pieces. Given the volume and value of the set, personal pickup is highly recommended; we are about one hour from Milan, Lombardy, Italy, by appointment. However, it is ALWAYS possible to obtain a quote for national and international shipping. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the description. Tracked shipping including secure packaging, any duties and customs taxes will be borne by the buyer.
