A large lot of comics and Comic Art albums from the early 1990s, devoted to some of the most important characters and authors of classic American comics. The lot includes numerous regular issues, specials, and summer editions of the series: - Phantom – The Ghost Who Walks, by Lee Falk and Wilson McCoy - Mandrake, created by Lee Falk - Rip Kirby, by Alex Raymond - Flash Gordon, by Alex Raymond - Brick Bradford - several specials and summer specials Among the visible material there are long sequences from the Phantom and Mandrake series, the Rip Kirby series from no. 1 to no. 12, several Flash Gordon issues, and numerous specials dedicated to the various characters. The issues are Italian editions from Comic Art, predominantly dating to the 1991-1993 period. Among the visible covers there are, for example, Flash Gordon – Doctor Zarkov’s Rocket, Rip Kirby – The Faraday Case, Phantom and numerous episodes of Mandrake. The lot thus offers a substantial collection of material devoted to the great era of American adventure comics, with works tied to key authors such as Alex Raymond and Lee Falk. Condition: used material overall in good condition for its age. Normal signs of reading and preservation are present, with wear to the edges and spines, small marks, creases or abrasions on some issues. Some copies are better preserved than others.
