Late 19th and early 20th-century maritime and railway travel ephemera collection. Collection includes brochures, booklets, prints, and a railway bond in paper and cardstock focusing on tourism routes for Florida, Nassau, Cuba, Bermuda, and the Canadian Maritimes. A matted steamship print is printed in gold lettering reading Prince Rupert St John and Digby Service and Compliments of the General Passenger Agent Dominion Atlantic Railway " CHRISTMAS 1896 " with a signature in the plate at the bottom right possibly reading C. HORTON. A booklet titled TO CUBA features the Chicago and Alton Ry logo for the Worlds Fair 1904 and credits A. G. ROBINSON General Agent Passenger Department, Chicago and Alton Ry. 101 Adams Street, CHICAGO, ILL. Two Dominion Atlantic Railway Evangeline Route brochures are present, one dated June 20, 1911 featuring the steamship Prince George and a monochromatic version dated June 1, 1899. A brown album cover is titled FLORIDA and NASSAU IN SUNLIGHT PICTURES. The lot includes a Jacksonville, Tampa and Key West Railway Co. Consolidated Mortgage 6% Fifty Year Gold Bond, No. 3331. A light blue booklet is titled BERMUDA, and the Windward West India Islands and bears a pencil notation mp 10- at the top right. Also included are two brochures titled SUMMER HOMES IN NOVA SCOTIA and a small matted photograph of individuals on a ship deck with a life ring marked DOMINION ATLANTIC RAILWAY PRINCE GEORGE.
