Impressive vintage coffee table from the 1970s, crafted in natural stone with a distinctive sculptural design. The table features a generously sized, organically shaped tabletop with a richly marbled surface in warm browns, beiges and greys. The top is supported by two heavy, geometrically shaped legs that are also finished in the same natural stone. The combination of the solid material, the sleek geometric forms and the natural veining of the stone gives the table a pronounced Brutalist and Italian-modern character. The table is a strong statement piece and fits both a vintage interior and a contemporary, minimalist setting. What is special about this piece is the combination of the rounded, curved shape of the top with the angular, monumental base. This creates an interesting contrast between organic and geometric forms.
