Issued in Leadville during the height of the early-1880s carbonate-ore boom, the company reflects the widespread consolidation of lode claims as deeper development and heavier capital demands reshaped the district. Although not recorded as a major producer, it represents the speculative and developmental companies that drove Leadville’s rise as one of the most important silver-mining centers in Colorado.
