Clément Boyer (XX) - St. Tropez

'St. Tropez', a post-impressionist harbor scene by the French painter Clément Boyer. Circa 1920-1930. Oil on panel, hand-signed. With soft pastel colors and thick layers of paint, Boyer here masterfully captures the warm South of France light and the view of the harbor and the houses of St. Tropez. Notably, the work is not only hand-signed, but on the back is the original studio sticker from Boyer. So it is also in the original frame. Condition: good. Some superficial dirt and at the top a very light craquelure and a brown stain are visible. Nothing disturbing. Please see the photos: they form part of the description.
