The classic solitaire ring, that is, a ring with only one precious stone, is said to date back to a design by the famous jeweller Tiffany & Co. in 1886. Today, this form of ring has become the epitome of the engagement ring, because in it is bundled all the symbolism that we expect from a piece of jewellery with which a promise is made. The one stone, which the ring holds in a central place, is considered here as an expression of the choice of the one partner who is to accompany us. It is not for nothing that a diamond is usually chosen for this purpose: This is considered a symbol of eternity due to its durability and rarity. A wonderful diamond of 0.60 carat also shines here as a solitaire in the center of the high-quality ring made of white gold. The stone has a fine white colour (Top Wesselton, G) and barely visible inclusions (vsi). It is held by a classic prong setting that appears like a small crown. It allows for an optimal incidence of light, so that the stone can develop its brilliance in the best possible way. The classic ring features a design of timeless elegance and makes an excellent engagement ring.
