Citroën - Burton Roadster - 1981

Bodywork & Paintwork This Citroën Burton Cabriolet is built from a polyester Burton body on a treated chassis, finished in the classic color British Racing Green with body-colored wheels and whitewall tires. The body is equipped with an original Burton stainless steel luggage rack. The exterior is in a nice, well-maintained condition, with a few light signs of use that fit the age and usage of the vehicle. Mechanical & Technical Condition Under the hood lies the well-known air-cooled 602 cc two-cylinder boxer engine from a 1981 Citroën 2CV6. During the Burton conversion in 2002 the engine was fully rebuilt; since then the car has covered less than 20,000 kilometers (odometer reading: 19,782 km). The engine starts and runs excellently, the gearbox shifts properly, and the driving behavior is light and lively. The technical condition is straightforward, reliable, and easy to maintain. Interior & Accessories The interior provides a stylish contrast thanks to the red leather upholstery. The equipment includes two USB ports and a removable wooden steering wheel, which offers both aesthetic value and additional security when parking. The car comes with various accessories, such as a tonneau cover with three zips, an indoor protective cover, an outdoor heavy-duty cover with UV protection, a set of yellow license plates, a spare key, and various Burton gadgets. Documentation & Other Information The car has a documented history as a 1981 2CV6 with a conversion in 2002. There is an official appraisal report from Burton with an appraised value of €15,000. The car can be viewed and collected in Muiderberg (Netherlands); worldwide transport can be arranged.
