Citizen Promaster Unite White Blue Ice - Limited Edition Citizen launches this new Eco-Drive diver as part of the Citizen “UNITE with BLUE” project: it is a 300-meter water-resistant underwater watch in a limited edition dedicated to oceans, the source of life, a version with a dial featuring structured colors. The Promaster model on auction is powered by Cal. E365 movement, which has boosted autonomy performance up to 365 days of continuous operation starting from a full charge, even in the harshest environments and in low-light conditions encountered by divers, and it adopts a decidedly special dial made with the structured colors of FUJIFILM Corporation, a technology that uses pigment-free ink but capable of reflecting light to create wonderful shades and perfectly representing ocean colors in their depths. A common thread between the two technologies is light, both as a form of clean energy, a central theme of Citizen Eco-Drive technology, and as brightness since light illuminating the watch can create shades of beautiful colors that seem like true traces from the sea floors. Completing the watch are a crown at the 4 o’clock position with its crown guard, the shape of the hour markers and the hour and minute hands, and finally the unidirectional rotating bezel silhouette. The strap is made of BENEBiOLTM2, a vegetable-derived polyurethane. CITIZEN adopted BENEBiOL for its straps because it is resistant to hydrolysis when exposed to moisture and has a reduced environmental impact. The screw-down case back features the image of a diving helmet, a universally recognizable symbol by professional divers worldwide. A piece today difficult to find in the watch landscape.
