Cigarette box - lucite and chrome-plated metal - 70s design

Beautiful and elegant cigarette/jewelry box in amber-colored dark lucite and chrome metal from the 1970s. The materials of this object are of top quality; the lucite is thick and heavy, as you can see from the details. The finishes are perfect; it feels like holding a crystal box in terms of shine and weight. The guarantee of quality is provided by the rather illegible label, (but I guarantee it) bearing the inscription "Fornari Roma" — a shop on Via Frattina in Rome that has served wedding lists and silverware for Rome's high bourgeoisie since 1905. The condition for its age is good, although lucite by its nature tends to scratch easily, and there are small spots on the chrome band where you can see yellow marks of the metal beneath the plating, but they are almost invisible!!!!
