Antique Napoleon III jewelry box – France – 19th century Elegant French jewelry box from the Napoleon III period, presumably circa 1850–1880. Made in black lacquered wood with refined gold-colored ornaments, decorative inlays and richly profiled edges. The interior is lined with deep red fabric and features a removable wooden compartment divider. Original brass hardware and key present. Condition: Beautiful authentic condition with signs of age, including lacquer wear, damage to the corners and localized loss of decoration. See photos for a full impression.
