This is an original cast recording of the musical Chrysanthemum, released in 1979 by American Entertainment Industries (AEI) Records as part of the London's Pride / The Great British Musicals series. The 12-inch vinyl LP features principal artists Pat Kirkwood and Hubert Gregg, with a supporting cast including Raymond Newell, Nicholas Amer, Richard Curnock, Patricia Moore, and Roger Gage. The recording was originally a Pye Records U.K. production and was manufactured in the United States. The book and lyrics are by Neville Phillips and Robin Chancellor, with music by Robb Stewart. The production was directed by Eleanor Fazan with the orchestra under the direction of Roy Lowe. The cardboard jacket features a pink border with a monochrome central photograph of the lead actors. The back cover includes a detailed synopsis, production credits, and biographical notes. The vinyl disc features blue labels with silver text, bearing the catalog number AEI 1108 and the designation Stereo. Domestic shipping within the U.S. is $12 for a single album.
