ASSISTANCE AND REPORTS For any clarification or issue, contact us via the order messaging on Catawiki, indicating the lot number and describing what was found. In case of damage, item not as described or missing contents, promptly report the issue to Catawiki support as well, preferably immediately and in any case within the 3 days provided by the platform procedure, to enable handling of the complaint and possible suspension of payment. This operative term does not entail loss of the right of withdrawal or of the statutory warranty under applicable terms. CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL When the buyer acts as a consumer and the legal requirements are met, they may exercise the right of withdrawal without justification within 14 days of receiving the item, pursuant to arts. 52 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, subject to legal exceptions. The decision must be communicated by explicit declaration to the seller, also using the Catawiki procedure. The item must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal communication. For mere reconsideration, the direct cost of return is borne by the buyer, unless otherwise agreed. The amounts due by law, including standard initial delivery costs, will be reimbursed; higher shipping costs chosen by the buyer are not reimbursed. Refund is made without undue delay and in accordance with the law, with the possibility of withholding until receipt of the item or proof of return, under the conditions set by the law. Amounts collected directly by Catawiki are managed through the platform according to their respective powers, subject to non-derogable rights. The buyer is responsible for any decrease in value arising from handling beyond what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, within the legal limits. LEGAL GUARANTEE AND CONFORMITY DEFECTS In consumer sales, the legal conformity warranty provided by articles 128 and following of the Consumer Code applies, even for used goods, taking into account prior use and the contractually declared characteristics. The ordinary duration of the liability is two years from delivery. For used goods, any reduction, not less than one year, applies only if validly agreed and permitted by applicable regulation. In case of a conformity defect, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law: repair or replacement, if practicable, or price reduction or contract termination when the conditions apply. Our commercial preference is to resolve legitimate disputes by returning the item and providing a full refund where appropriate, rather than negotiating informal discounts. When return is due to a defect attributable to the seller, the necessary costs are borne by us in accordance with the law.
