Christian Obsidian Necklace “Save and Protect” – Divine Protection. This obsidian necklace bears the sacred Cross of Christ stamped with the prayer “Save and Protect,” a powerful shield of faith to block evil and walk under divine protection. At the heart of Christian tradition, the Cross of Christ rises like a Tree of Life that triumphs over death and darkness. Venerated for more than a thousand years across the sanctuaries of East and West, it embodies the supreme gift that frees man from fear and restores hope in the midst of trials. On the reverse of this cross watches one of the most famous invocations of the faith: Save and Protect. This ancient formula acts as a continuous blessing, raising a spiritual bulwark around the faithful to neutralize malicious intents, dispel anxieties, and preserve the peace of the soul in the face of worldly turmoil. Carrying this sacred cross close to oneself is to place one’s existence under the constant guardianship of the Savior: a shield of strength and courage to face each step with head held high and journey with the certainty of protection against all adversity. History & Secrets of the Symbol: The Eight-Pointed Cross of Salvation: The Triumph Over Death Recognizable by its three horizontal bars, this sacred cross bears the upper inscription (INRI), the crossbar of Christ’s arms, and the inclined bar of the feet (the suppedaneum). The inclined branch pointing to the sky recalls the promise of eternal life, while the skull of Adam depicted at the foot of Golgotha symbolizes humanity’s redemption. The Sacred Invocation “Save and Protect” Engraved in Cyrillic letters (Спаси и Сохрани) on the back of the medallion, this traditional prayer is the emblem of blessing par excellence. Carried for centuries by pilgrims and believers, it is a direct supplication for aid to preserve the wearer from physical and spiritual perils. The Presence of the Virgin Mary and Saint John Framing the Christ on the main crossbeam, the Mother of the Savior and the beloved apostle represent compassion and faithfulness at the foot of the Cross. Their presence offers deep comfort, reminding the faithful that they are never alone in life’s trials. Obsidian: The Mineral Shield and Mental Resolve In a deep, pure black, obsidian is the major defensive stone for absorbing negative energies and dispelling doubts. Its sober, dense presence provides a solid foundation that dignifies the solemnity of this sacred cross. The photographs were taken under LED lighting using dedicated photographic equipment to accurately reproduce the details, reliefs, and nuances of the object. Some precious and semi-precious stones may undergo traditional treatments to enhance color or transparency. No specific gemological examination was performed on this piece.
