Precious and refined oriental sculpture from the period, carved entirely by hand from a single block of natural coral, characterized by delicate color nuances ranging from salmon pink to white (coral variety Momo / Angel Skin). The work elegantly develops in width, following the natural growth of the branch. It portrays a traditional naturalistic motif of very high relief and richly pierced: small birds and paradise birds immersed among knotted branches, leaves, and cherry/peach blossoms.
