CHINA--REPUBLIC. Lot of (5). 1912 5% Chinese Government Crisp Gold

According to Kuhlmann, the 23,384, 19068, 1,467 and 550 bonds remain outstanding, respectively. The 1000 Pounds rare and the key denomination. Arranged by the nascent Republic of China Government by the British financier, Charles Crisp (1867-1958), for a total of five million pounds, which bypasses the traditional Six Power Consortium (banking syndicates from Britain, France, Germany, USA, Russia and Japan).
