The Chung Hwa Bank was established in November 1911 to issue currency to support the Nationalist Revolution. The notes were withdrawn in June 1912, and the bank changed its name to Chung Hwa Commercial and Savings Bank in 1913. PMG Comments "Rust." Estimate: $300 - $400. Provenance: From the William J. Pardee Collection. 黃帝紀元四千六百零九年中華民國軍用鈔票壹元。 上海地名。中華銀行成立於1911年11月，旨在發行軍券以支持辛亥革命。該批鈔票於1912年6月收回，該行隨後於1913年更名為中華商業儲蓄銀行。PMG備註"鏽漬"。
